George Santos is now in prison.
The 37-year-old disgraced former New York congressman reported to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fairton in Fairton, New Jersey on Friday (July 25) to begin serving his 87-month, or seven years and a quarter, sentence after pleading guilty last year to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.

He continued, “To my supporters: You made this wild political cabaret worth it. To my critics: Thanks for the free press. I may be leaving the stage (for now), but trust me legends never truly exit. 💋🇺🇸✨”
He signed his message, “Forever fabulously yours, George.”
