It has recently been speculated that the 73-year-old musician has been receiving hospice care following a hospitalization.

In a new statement, Phil‘s rep said that the “In the Air Tonight” singer’s recent hospitalization was not due to any terminal illness.

Phil‘s rep also said that the rumors of him being in hospice are “completely incorrect.”

In his documentary Phil Collins: Drummer First, which was released late last year, Phil revealed that he can no longer play the drums due to health issues.

“I just feel like I’ve used up my air miles,” the Grammy winner said, noting that not being able to play is “still kind of sinking in a bit.”
