Sofia Vergara is sharing a health update!
A year after she revealed she had her first knee surgery, the 53-year-old Modern Family actress has revealed she had a second knee surgery.
Sofia shared a selfie to Instagram on Friday (July 25) showing herself looking fresh-faced in a hospital gown, recovering in her hospital bed. In the second photo shared in the post, Sofia showed off her bandaged knee in the hospital bed.

Sofia captioned the Instagram photo, “Its done! Round 2,” followed by a series of emojis. It’s unclear why Sofia needed surgery on her knee, but it’s not the first time that the actress has shared that she had knee surgery.
In 2024, Sofia shared that she had knee surgery and that her then-boyfriend, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, was taking care of her while she recovered.
Although Sofia and Justin are no longer together, hopefully she has someone to help her heal this time around!
